Excited to announce that the Saturday night investigation at MASS ParaCon, from 8:00 PM to midnight on Saturday, October 3, 2026, will take place at Lizzie Borden's former church—now known as The Historic Abbey! Visit MASSParaCon.com for more information. Fingers crossed! The plan is to officially launch my upcoming book, "Lizzie Borden & the Family Curse," during the special Saturday night investigation on October 3 from 8 p.m. to midnight at a location we'll hopefully be announcing very soon. In my upcoming Spirit Squad 15: Psychic Sweep class held on Tuesday nights at 7 pm ET via Zoom starting Sept. 1st, we are adding a sequence on the art of spirit communication through gallery readings. In addition to exploring "psychic sweeps" and traditional psychic galleries, this session will also revisit remote viewing and the tools of the trade mediums use when exploring historically haunted locations. https://massparacon.square.site/product/spirit-squad-15-psychic-sweep/62?utm_id=97 I booked another library lecture in October to promote my upcoming book, "Lizzie Borden & the Family Curse," which is set to be released on Oct. 13th. Special thanks to the Torrance Public Library in California for hosting me again on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 8:30 pm ET. Once the book comes out on October 13th, I'm planning a national book tour to promote it. More details soon. https://www.amazon.com/Lizzie-Borden-Family-Curse-Crime/dp/1540299120 Next stop for Haunted Travels Anthology, author Lexi Myers investigates the St. Augustine Lighthouse in Florida. The spooktacular anthology is now available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H5D56DBR @octoberallyear_ Rumor has it the Andrew Jackson Hotel investigation at New Orleans Paracon is nearly sold out! If you've been thinking about joining us for this exclusive ghost hunt in one of the French Quarter's most legendary haunted locations, don't wait much longer. The event is featured as a limited-capacity add-on during New Orleans ParaCon, July 31–August 2, 2026. 🥁 Drum roll, please... 🥁 I love it when my friends spot my "Ghosts of Salem: Haunts of the Witch City" book when they visit Salem. Thank you Malinda Freeman for the shout out! As I begin research for my upcoming book, "Haunted Lighthouses of New England," I've been revisiting old photos from my adventures at some of the region’s most iconic beacons—many of which will likely find their way into the pages of this new project. This particular shot was taken during my brief stint giving tours of Bakers Island Light in Salem Harbor, an experience that deepened my appreciation for the history, mystery, and beauty of New England’s coastal sentinels. Looking back at these memories has only fueled my excitement for the journey ahead. I can't wait to share the stories I uncover along the way. Sadly, I had to postpone my trip to Martha's Vineyard this weekend to September. Good news is I can now focus on the launch of "Haunted Travels Anthology: Volume 2" which should be available on Amazon by this Saturday. I'm heading to Martha’s Vineyard this weekend to begin research for my upcoming book, Haunted Lighthouses of Massachusetts. It will be my first visit to the island in fifteen years, and I have to admit, my experience there back in 2011 felt absolutely magical. Even then, I found myself drawn to the Vineyard’s historic lighthouses and the stories surrounding them. Not a writer? No problem.
