I love it when my friends spot my "Ghosts of Salem: Haunts of the Witch City" book when they visit Salem. Thank you Malinda Freeman for the shout out! As I begin research for my upcoming book, "Haunted Lighthouses of New England," I've been revisiting old photos from my adventures at some of the region’s most iconic beacons—many of which will likely find their way into the pages of this new project. This particular shot was taken during my brief stint giving tours of Bakers Island Light in Salem Harbor, an experience that deepened my appreciation for the history, mystery, and beauty of New England’s coastal sentinels. Looking back at these memories has only fueled my excitement for the journey ahead. I can't wait to share the stories I uncover along the way. Sadly, I had to postpone my trip to Martha's Vineyard this weekend to September. Good news is I can now focus on the launch of "Haunted Travels Anthology: Volume 2" which should be available on Amazon by this Saturday. I'm heading to Martha’s Vineyard this weekend to begin research for my upcoming book, Haunted Lighthouses of Massachusetts. It will be my first visit to the island in fifteen years, and I have to admit, my experience there back in 2011 felt absolutely magical. Even then, I found myself drawn to the Vineyard’s historic lighthouses and the stories surrounding them. Not a writer? No problem. What began as a passion project among a handful of paranormal writers has evolved into Haunted Travels Anthology: Vol. 2. Curated by Sam Baltrusis, this bone-chilling collection pairs heavy hitters like Natalie Fowler, Pat Bussard O’Keefe, and Nomar Slevik with standout voices on the rise. From Rikki Rockett of Poison’s unsettling “lady in white” encounter to The Radikals’ eerie voyage aboard the RMS Queen Mary, each story pulls readers deeper into America’s most haunted places. Buckle up—it’s going to be a bumpy night. Check out the first edition here: https://www.amazon.com/Haunted-Travels-Anthology-Sam-Baltrusis/dp/B0F9LN2JFR I'm very excited about the launch of Haunted Travels Anthology: Vol. 2 on the Creepy Chronicles podcast with Radikals on Friday, June 12th at 8 pm exclusively on the All Access TV Network. Tune in ... if you dare. Join author, historian, and clairvoyant Sam Baltrusis for SPIRIT SQUAD 16: Haunted Travels, a five-week paranormal journey through some of America's most legendary haunted destinations. I had such a magical time in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown. I am working on a follow-up projecf on the Hudson Valley and always love coming back. Celebrating a very special birthday and hashing out a future book project at one of my all-time favorite overnight haunts. I just got a greenlight from my publisher on the "Haunted Lighthouses of Massachusetts" book. I'm so excited to do the research this summer with planned visits to Martha's Vineyard, Provincetown and an overnight at the Borden Flats Light in Fall River. I can't believe it, but we're almost sold out of tickets for the Haunted Travels Halloween Ball event at Wilson Castle on Friday, October 30th from 6 pm until 1 am. LIMITED SPOTS. There are options for a single ticket, a discount for two and an overnight add-on for those who dare to sleep at the castle overnight. Celebrate All Hallows' Eve with "Haunted Castles of New England" author Sam Baltrusis at Wilson Castle in Proctor, VT. Expect some thrills and chills ... plus a few special guests including Heidi Kemper, The Radikals, James Annitto and Andrew Warburton. Dress up and enjoy the sights and sounds of Halloween at one of New England's most haunted castles. For the record, this is my last event before moving. So, this will also be my bon voyage bash. Hope to see you there! https://massparacon.square.site
